Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers - Nissan 240sx '95-98 S14

5 Star Rating

Buy in bulk and save

Many drivers are attracted to the Nissan 240SX due to its ability to handle sharply while delivering high-end horsepower. Supporting the vehicle’s responsive handling are coilovers that respond to irregularities on the road surface without jostling the car and diminishing its speed. Featuring seamless, stainless steel monotubes, forged lower mounts, and proprietary nitrogen gas chambers, our Fortune Auto 500 Series coilovers are perfect for aggressive driving.

Fortune Auto Coilovers

Fortune Auto 500 Series coilovers feature shock absorbers that use digressive piston technology to deliver stiff, low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives you more control over inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e., high speed bumps), the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the driving path.

In addition, these coilovers let you upgrade to 2-Way remote canisters at any time. To update your shocks without investing in a new coilover system, simply send your 500 series shocks to our service center for the modular 2-Way upgrade. All 500 series dampers are fully rebuildable, serviceable, and can be custom valved.

Order Auto 500 Series Coilovers

Made from a specially formulated Buna rubber compound that provides a great balance between reliability and performance, our latest 500 series damper shaft seals have 40% less drag than our previous models. This creates less hysteresis and superior control of driver inputs. Because the shaft seal is the most important seal on the shock, a stronger seal greatly improves reliability and performance.

To get Fortune Auto 500 Series coilovers, visit our secure, online store and place your order. In just a few days, you’ll have best-in-class coilovers to install in your 240SX tuner car.

Generation 6
2017 Improvements

Generation 6 models benefit from an upgraded jetting assembly. In previous generations the orifice bleed holes were hand drilled. Generation 6 bleed holes are now CNC machined allowing for more consistent damping adjustments between shocks. Furthermore flow of the orifice bleed holes has increased and a re-designed jetting assembly is used, this yields a 35% increase in damping force adjustment. Providing the user with a shock that has more performance and adjustability.

New CNC machined adjustment knobs replace the outgoing cast molded knobs. These new machined adjustment knobs are hard anodized and more aesthetically pleasing. Updated shaft end caps are now lighter and showcase a more elegant design.

Fortune Auto has developed 2 new al la carte options that make Generation 6 systems even more customizable.

A. 7075-T6 Hard anodized aluminum damper bodies now available on motorsports series double wishbone strut applications. Provides for superior heat dissipation and extreme weight savings of up to 2lbs per shock.
B. All new LSP (locking spring perch) no longer requires a locking ring to lock the spring perch in place. This allows more height adjustment on some McPherson applications and is less likely to come loose benefitting motorsports applications that run larger and more aggressive tire compounds.

  1. Excellent Coilovers for a great price

Alright, so, my 2nd set of fortune autos on my 2nd s14, and i have to say, i'm still extremely pleased. Everything from the packaging to the build quality is simply superb. quite possibly the only set i intend to buy, considering having driven on multiple other cars with various coils. for the price, you simply can't beat FA.

The first time i bought coilovers, I went directly to the shop in Virginia and had them built in about 30 minutes. Being military, i'm stationed about 2 hours away and they did a great job then, and an even better job this time around. The paint and welds are even MORE crisp than before. And of course, they ride great.

The only negative difference that i can note, is that this time around, the lock collars for the preload were lose and possibly not what they should be. Not even sure if that's a huge issue, but notable in my opinion.

10/10 product and i would recomend it to anyone looking at coils. Next time i plan to look into the 510 series, but, can't go wrong with the base 500, for sure.

  2. highly recommend

ive had my fortune 500 for about 4 years now and there the best for ride, performance and adjustability damping and ride height. super ridiculously low ride can be achieved. and ther customer service is amazing.

  3. FA 500 Series Coilover With Swift Springs

These were my third set of coilovers. I must say, they are by far the best.

These coils absorb bumps very well. They are still coilovers so they aren't as forgiving as stock, but on full soft, they're only a step down from a spring + shock combo.

High quality product. Works great. Only downside is this S14 set doesn't come with brake brackets... zip ties are cheap but hey, a minor gripe considering how well they work. And they go low too.
